Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Magi 901 (Bottle crash) by Shozo Shimamoto was sold in the Kunst nach 1945 I auction at Ketterer in Munich in June 2017. Here, the estimate of EUR 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 112,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shozo Shimamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Explosion 64-1 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 20,500,000.00 (€ 2,419,733.82).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Magi 901 (Bottle crash) von Shozo Shimamoto wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Kunst nach 1945 I bei Ketterer in München versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 112.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shozo Shimamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Explosion 64-1 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.500.000,00 (€ 2.419.733,82).
