The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,385.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon Norfolk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Former Teahouse in a park next to the Afghan Exhibition of Economic and Social Achievements in the Shah Shahid district of Kabul in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,624.78).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.385,14) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Norfolk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Former Teahouse in a park next to the Afghan Exhibition of Economic and Social Achievements in the Shah Shahid district of Kabul im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.624,78).
