Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sohei Nishino could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work 'Diorama Of Tokyo', 2009 changed hands for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,808.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sohei Nishino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diorama Map Istanbul, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 75,808.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sohei Nishino konnte im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit 'Diorama Of Tokyo', 2009 für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.808,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sohei Nishino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diorama Map Istanbul beobachtet, die im September 2020 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 75.808,05) versteigert wurde.
