Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ersterjanuarzweitausenundundvierzehn by Ugo Rondinone was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,257.76). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Rondinone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day Like This.Made Of Nothing And Nothing Else in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,131,000.00 (€ 998,851.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ersterjanuarzweitausenundundvierzehn von Ugo Rondinone wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.257,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ugo Rondinone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Day Like This.Made Of Nothing And Nothing Else im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.131.000,00 (€ 998.851,89).
