Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (98.12) by Uta Barth was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2017. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,507.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Uta Barth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (02.4) in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 38,400.00 (€ 29,922.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (98.12) von Uta Barth kam im Oktober 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.507,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Uta Barth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (02.4) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 29.922,86).
