Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pseudo Character H3 by Wenda Gu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,113.55). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wenda Gu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drama Of Two Culture Formats Merge C1-C3 (Three Works) in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,980,000.00 (€ 387,801.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pseudo Character H3 von Wenda Gu kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.113,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wenda Gu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drama Of Two Culture Formats Merge C1-C3 (Three Works) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.980.000,00 (€ 387.801,04).
