The auction ended at the price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,021.76), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilfredo Lam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Omi Obini in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,603,800.00 (€ 8,551,153.06).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.021,76) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilfredo Lam erzielen.
