Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Medea“. by Wilhelm Lehmbruck was auctioned at Grisebach in October 2018. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Lehmbruck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torso Eines Jungen Weibes in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 608,750.00 (€ 1,011,254.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Medea“. von Wilhelm Lehmbruck kam im Oktober 2018 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Lehmbruck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torso Eines Jungen Weibes im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 608.750,00 (€ 1.011.254,87).
