Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Rue Muller', Montmartre, Paris, 1934 by Willy Ronis. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,325.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Willy Ronis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 26,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Rue Muller', Montmartre, Paris, 1934 von Willy Ronis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.325,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willy Ronis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.650,00.
