Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wolfgang Tillmans achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September last year. In the New Now auction, the work Blushes #105 sold for USD 63,000.00 (€ 64,397.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolfgang Tillmans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Freischwimmer #84 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 605,000.00 (€ 688,982.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wolfgang Tillmans erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Blushes #105 für USD 63.000,00 (€ 64.397,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Tillmans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Freischwimmer #84 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 605.000,00 (€ 688.982,12).
