The work Sans Titre by Wols was worth GBP 2,617,250.00 (€ 3,082,901.53) to a buyer in February 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Looking Closely: A Private Collection at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Sans Titre the most expensive artwork by Wols that we have observed at auctions so far.
