A top price for Yau Wing Fung - as previously expected
The work Floating Mountain VII by Yau Wing Fung was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,667.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Floating Mountain VII is the most expensive artwork by Yau Wing Fung that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Floating Mountain VII von Yau Wing Fung kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.667,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Floating Mountain VII das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yau Wing Fung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
