The work Armed Forces- Planche No. 17 by Yue Minjun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,325.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yue Minjun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Execution in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,932,500.00 (€ 4,211,262.96).

Die Arbeit Armed Forces- Planche No. 17 von Yue Minjun kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.325,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yue Minjun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Execution im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.932.500,00 (€ 4.211.262,96).
