A top price for Yue Minjun
In October 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Execution by Yue Minjun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,932,500.00 (€ 4,211,262.96), 47% above the upper estimate. With this result, Execution is even the most expensive work of art by Yue Minjun that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Execution von Yue Minjun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.932.500,00 (€ 4.211.262,96) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Execution sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yue Minjun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
