Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Leaf Bug (3 Sculptures) by Yuichi Hirako was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,874.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Hirako achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Leaf Bug (3 Sculptures) von Yuichi Hirako kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.874,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
