Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Blue Monochrome (IKB 266) by Yves Klein was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 302,750.00 (€ 345,194.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled Blue Monochrome (IKB 266) von Yves Klein kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 302.750,00 (€ 345.194,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
