Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work The Sprigs (3) by Zhang Enli. The price achieved of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 121,874.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Enli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maidens in May last year with an auction result of HKD 10,050,000.00 (€ 1,193,150.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sprigs (3) von Zhang Enli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 121.874,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Enli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maidens im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.050.000,00 (€ 1.193.150,68).
