A highlight of the art autumn: StART ART FAIR at the Saatchi Gallery

Despite the pandemic-related restrictions, about 6,500 visitors wanted to experience the fair in 2020. This year, the fair will return for its eighth edition from October 13 to 17, and will be bigger than ever with a new section and a digital platform.

Since 2014, StART ART FAIR has been an important fair especially for emerging artists and galleries. This year, representatives from 25 countries are in London for the fair, which has been comparatively strong in attendance and demand even under the most difficult conditions like 2020. For the »reboot«, organizers are presenting a new section, StART+, in which selected artists participating in the fair will have an additional exhibition at the ARX gallery in London, which has been in existence since 2021, from October 20 to November 10. StART also offers the digital platform StART.art, a comprehensive sales platform where the entire spectrum of the art world is traded, from traditional art to NFTs.

StART maintains previous program features, such as the presentation of the Global Eye Award. This is given to an art practitioner who has distinguished themselves through outstanding work in a country or more remote areas of a country where the infrastructure of the art market there needs to be developed. The award is intended to raise awareness and spur promotion. The Global Eye program will target East Asia in 2021. Works by artists Henry Lau and K-pop stars Ohnim and Yooyeon are being touted in advance as magnets for collectors and other art enthusiasts.Art.Salon

For the first time, an exhibition of the painter’s work is coming to the United Kingdom: Waldmüller: Landscapes opens on July 2 at the National Gallery in London.
