»Body and Soul«

In the exhibition Body and Soul by the Verein Berliner Künstler, eight artists, including Corinna Rosteck from the Art.Salon artists' program, present current artistic perspectives on body and soul in the face of major social changes brought about by social media. The vernissage will take place on February 14.

The exhibition invites visitors to explore the connection between body and soul and to engage with new perspectives. Sculptures, paintings, videos and photographs explore the diversity of physicality - from the delicate line of a drawing to the powerful curve of a sculpture. Physical form, the abstract essence of the corporeal and the figurative meet in dialog. The artists take anatomy as the basis for the expression of what takes place »under the skin«. This goes far beyond the material. The physicality that connects all living beings with the world is captured here in colors, textures and movements. New media have changed the way they are depicted. How have body and soul changed in visual representation?
