ART TAIPEI is considered a landmark event in Asian art, bringing together art leaders from around the world to highlight global art trends. This year, the fair will take place from October 22-25, 2021 in Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan - and thus in the heart of Taipei's business district, right next to Taipei 101, where international companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, UBS Group and Deloitte & Touche are headquartered. With a focus on contemporary art from the 20th and 21st centuries as well as on various art forms, ART TAIPEI shows collectors as well as all other visitors a variety of works presented by more than 120 galleries from over 10 different countries.
ART TAIPEI was founded in 1992, making it the longest-running international art exhibition in Asia. As the leading fair in the Taiwanese art industry, it has been able to attract new groups of collectors in close cooperation with collectors and art galleries over the years. Today, ART TAIPEI is considered the hub of international contemporary art fairs in the Asia-Pacific region. It is organized by the Taiwan Art Gallery Association (TAGA).
