These are concentrated, poetic images that serve as metaphors for our time: self-taught artist Katharina Moser, who participates in the Art.Salon artist program, creates a diverse oeuvre that effortlessly combines abstract and figurative elements. This creates enigmatic atmospheres that raise questions and inspire individual interpretations rather than dictating answers. Moser works primarily in series, in which she addresses various themes such as social issues, personal memories, or impressions of nature. Moser is now showing a selection of her works at the town hall in Jennersdorf in Burgenland, which attract attention with their bold colors. Moser paints, a collaboration between the municipality of Jennersdorf and Galerie21, opens on October 10, 2025, at 6 p.m. and can be seen until April 16, 2026.

Parallel to the solo exhibition, the artist is showing further works in the immediate vicinity of Jennersdorf, in Neumarkt an der Raab: she took part in the eu-art-network art symposium, where new works were created during a ten-day workshop. The exhibition in the gallery in the artists' village runs until November 2.

Austrian artist Katharina Moser lives in Vienna and Burgenland. She works primarily as a painter, but her oeuvre also includes sculpture, printmaking, photography, and photo collage. She constantly explores the complex themes of dreams, memories, and desires, which become visually tangible in her schematic images. Moser's works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Since 2012, she has been director of the Loft 8 Gallery for Contemporary Art in Vienna.Art.Salon
