More than 65 galleries at the Affordable Art Fair
With a total of several thousand exhibits from over 65 different local, national as well as international galleries, the Affordable Art Fair returns for its 15th anniversary edition from 27 to 30 October 2021. In Amsterdam, these galleries will present works by contemporary artists.

The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam returns to the de Kromhouthal for its 15th anniversary edition. From 27 to 30 October 2021, thousands of contemporary artworks from over 65 local, national as well as international galleries will be on display. The works of art presented are all priced below 7,500 euros. In addition to the impressive offerings of the 65 galleries, the fair will also showcase projects by individual emerging artists who are not currently represented by the exhibiting galleries, but are no less noteworthy for that. All in all, galleries, artists and other guests are all meant to enjoy the exciting diversity of art presented at the fair.
Another aim of the Affordable Art Fair is to encourage visitors who are new to the world of contemporary art collecting to take the step of acquiring a work of art. To this end, the fair exhibits a special selection of artworks priced below €500 on the »Under €500« wall.

Waldmüller’s Progressive Landscape Paintings
Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller is often associated with the Biedermeier period, yet his paintings—especially his landscapes, which he created outdoors from life—tell a different story. For the first time, an exhibition of the painter’s work is coming to the United Kingdom: Waldmüller: Landscapes opens on July 2 at the National Gallery in London.

Continuation of the anniversary exhibitions: In 2026, Georg Brandner will celebrate his 70th birthday and his 50th anniversary as a freelance artist. He is presenting his works in various Austrian cities, with the next stop being Wolfsberg: On June 30 at 6:30 p.m., the exhibition Georg Brandner – 70 Years of Art will open at Galerie Atelier Berndt.
