Katharina Fritsch receives the Goslar Kaiserring
The prestigious Kaiserring of the city of Goslar will be awarded in 2025 to the sculptor Katharina Fritsch, whose work questions traditional role models. The unendowed Kaiserring is considered one of the most important international awards for modern art. The award ceremony is scheduled for October 11.
A revolutionary female gaze
She was internationally renowned during her lifetime and was considered one of the most important female painters of her time: the unconventional Suzanne Valadon is now the subject of a major exhibition of the same name with almost 200 exhibits at the Centre Pompidou. The opening is on January 15.

The Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal looks to the past and the future: in the exhibition Museum A to Z. From the Beginning to the Future explores the museum's own founding history, the development of its collection and its future role, in general and the Von der Heydt Museum in particular. The exhibition opens on January 11 for two years.
Art for peaceful coexistence
With the two-part exhibition #Living Together #Without Hate and Anti-Semitism, the Berlin Artists' Association is committed to non-violent coexistence and social exchange. The vernissage for PART ONE, in which Silke Bartsch from the Art.Salon artist program is also taking part, will take place on 10 January.

Digital image manipulation is so ubiquitous and accepted that it has only been discussed again in society since the new AI image generators. In the exhibition Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art presents the development of image manipulation from 1980 to the present day. The exhibition runs until July 13, 2025.
