Tatorte Kunst has become a fixture in Wiesbaden's cultural life: the large art tour, during which artists open their studios to the public, is taking place for the 17th year in a row. More than 70 artists are taking part in this year's event in Wiesbaden-Mitte and Rheingauviertel-Hollerborn, including photo artist Frieda, who is participating for the second time since 2024. She is exhibiting her work with four other artists in the Ringkirche. Tatorte Kunst takes place on October 25 and 26. The catalog is available online and on site.

For Frieda, an artist living in France and Germany, both her numerous travels around the world and her home on the Atlantic coast are important sources of inspiration. Most of the works she is exhibiting at Tatorte Kunst were created during her last trip to Argentina in the spring of 2025. The country has a special, personal significance for Frieda. The images, some of which are large-format, are either individual works or continuations of ongoing series on urban and natural structures. In Frieda's abstract art, the ordinary becomes the starting point for new perceptions. Her award-winning works reveal hidden layers of space, time, and memory.

»These historical, urban structures tell me stories. Stories from the past, lived stories, secret stories, untold stories. Hanging them in a church is something very special. The church as the center of a neighborhood or a city, itself a historical structure, home to many emotions, many stories. The structures from nature stand in gentle contrast to this. When the afternoon sun shines through the church windows onto the pictures, the glow seems almost magical«, says Frieda about her exhibition venue in the Ringkirche. Some of the works on display, including Paseo a San Isidro IV, are being shown publicly for the first time in Tatorte Kunst.Art.Salon
