Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain, which included the work Sans titre by Mubin Orhon. The price achieved of EUR 199,000 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as EUR 180,000 - 250,000. Other works by Mubin Orhon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Untitled (From Hommage À Delacroix Series) was auctioned for GBP 241,250 (€ 271,689).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 199.000 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 180.000 – 250.000 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Untitled (From Hommage À Delacroix Series) für GBP 241.250 (€ 271.689) versteigert.
