Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by A. R. Penck. The price achieved of GBP 22,860.00 (€ 26,249.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. R. Penck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Welt Des Adlers I (World Of The Eagle I) in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 531,000.00 (€ 615,430.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von A. R. Penck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.860,00 (€ 26.249,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von A. R. Penck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Welt Des Adlers I (World Of The Eagle I) im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 531.000,00 (€ 615.430,20).
