Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zwart wit by Aad de Haas was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. It changed hands for a price of NLG 1,989.34 (€ 931.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aad de Haas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudes and cyclist in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zwart wit von Aad de Haas wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 1.989,34 (€ 931,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aad de Haas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudes and cyclist im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
