Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Estaque by Albert Marquet was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,840.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Estaque von Albert Marquet wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.840,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
