Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Circus travel by Alois Lecoque for USD 1,200.00 (€ 923.22). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alois Lecoque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Terase Palma Mallorca in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 4,182.50 (€ 4,233.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Circus travel von Alois Lecoque für USD 1.200,00 (€ 923,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alois Lecoque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Terase Palma Mallorca im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.182,50 (€ 4.233,73).
