Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Baigneuses Au Promontoire by Amédée Ozenfant. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,705.20), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amédée Ozenfant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verrerie in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 557,000.00 (€ 620,514.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baigneuses Au Promontoire von Amédée Ozenfant zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.705,20) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amédée Ozenfant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verrerie im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 557.000,00 (€ 620.514,87).
