Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte Aux Carafes, Aux Pichets Et À La Guitare by Amédée Ozenfant was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 116,653.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Amédée Ozenfant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Verrerie in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 557,000.00 (€ 620,514.87).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 116.653,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amédée Ozenfant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Verrerie im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 557.000,00 (€ 620.514,87).
