Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Electric Chair by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,407.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
