Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work One plate from Ladies and Gentlemen by Andy Warhol. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,386.70), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit One plate from Ladies and Gentlemen von Andy Warhol zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.386,70) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
