Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary & Design, which included the work "The Star" (Greta Garbo), from: "Myths" by Andy Warhol. The price achieved of SEK 860,000.00 (€ 91,757.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
