Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Trilogy of Knowledge: Master's Degree, Doctoral Degree, Out of Degree (Set of Three) by Angki Purbandono for HKD 4,410.00 (€ 468.80). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angki Purbandono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trilogy of Knowledge: Master's Degree, Doctoral Degree, Out of Degree (Set of Three) von Angki Purbandono für HKD 4.410,00 (€ 468,80) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
