Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century to Now, which included the work Star Book by Anselm Kiefer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 184,150.00 (€ 214,318.90), 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anselm Kiefer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Für Velimir Khlebnikov: Die Lehre vom Krieg: Seeschlachten in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,389,000.00 (€ 2,867,579.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Star Book von Anselm Kiefer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 184.150,00 (€ 214.318,90) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anselm Kiefer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Für Velimir Khlebnikov: Die Lehre vom Krieg: Seeschlachten im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.389.000,00 (€ 2.867.579,59).
