The work Déposition De Croix by Anto Carte was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 187,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anto Carte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Pain, which sold at auction in March 2019 for EUR 516,500.00.

Die Arbeit Déposition De Croix von Anto Carte wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 187.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Anto Carte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Pain beobachtet, die im März 2019 für EUR 516.500,00 versteigert wurde.
