Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Fillette Au Jardin by Anto Carte. The price achieved of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 76,685.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anto Carte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Pain in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 516,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fillette Au Jardin von Anto Carte zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 76.685,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anto Carte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Pain im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 516.500,00.
