Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Agay, les roches rouges by Armand Guillaumin was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,064.25). Admittedly, works by Armand Guillaumin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chemin À Damiette in March 2014 with an auction result of EUR 325,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Agay, les roches rouges von Armand Guillaumin kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.064,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Guillaumin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chemin À Damiette im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.500,00.
