Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Milan held the auction Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection, which included the work Immagine trasversale by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The price achieved of EUR 17,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Immagine trasversale von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
