Upper estimate price exceeded by 52 %.
The work Eve by Auguste Rodin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. It achieved a price of USD 2,281,000.00 (€ 1,552,968.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).
