Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work La Danaïde, Petit Modèle, Version Type I by Auguste Rodin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 137,000.00 (€ 105,481.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Danaïde, Petit Modèle, Version Type I von Auguste Rodin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 137.000,00 (€ 105.481,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Rodin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Éternel Printemps im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.410.000,00 (€ 18.329.591,38).
