Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Star Building by Aya Takano was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,641.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aya Takano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Star Building von Aya Takano kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.641,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aya Takano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
