Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Art contemporain - Vente du jour, which included the work Opale by Bernard Frize. The price achieved of EUR 73,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Frize - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Toky, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 2,646,000.00 (€ 287,424.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Opale von Bernard Frize zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 73.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Frize mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Toky beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 2.646.000,00 (€ 287.424,21) versteigert wurde.
