Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Fillette Jouant Avec Un Chien by Berthe Morisot. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 94,780.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000.00 (€ 4,780,965.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fillette Jouant Avec Un Chien von Berthe Morisot zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 94.780,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000,00 (€ 4.780.965,81).
