Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promenade en banlieue by Camille Bombois was sold in the Impressionist/Modern & Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in February 2015. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,617.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Bombois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La blonde sur le pouf in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 147,039.97).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.617,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Bombois erzielen.
