Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlotta Corpron could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Gift of Photographs auction, the work Universe; and Untitled Abstraction 2 changed hands for USD 408.00 (€ 333.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlotta Corpron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Light, White Paper and Glass; Eggs Encircled; Untitled from the series Light Follows Form; and Illusion of Male and Female from the series Light Follows Form (1946) in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,171.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlotta Corpron konnte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Gift of Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Universe; and Untitled Abstraction 2 für USD 408,00 (€ 333,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlotta Corpron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Light, White Paper and Glass; Eggs Encircled; Untitled from the series Light Follows Form; and Illusion of Male and Female from the series Light Follows Form (1946) im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.700,00 (€ 5.171,09).
