A top price for Carlotta Corpron - as previously expected
In April 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Light, White Paper and Glass; Eggs Encircled; Untitled from the series Light Follows Form; and Illusion of Male and Female from the series Light Follows Form (1946) by Carlotta Corpron. The price achieved of USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,171.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Light, White Paper and Glass; Eggs Encircled; Untitled from the series Light Follows Form; and Illusion of Male and Female from the series Light Follows Form (1946) is the most expensive artwork by Carlotta Corpron that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light, White Paper and Glass; Eggs Encircled; Untitled from the series Light Follows Form; and Illusion of Male and Female from the series Light Follows Form (1946) von Carlotta Corpron zur Versteigerung kam.
