Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Damien Hirst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Enter the Infinite (The Visions), Ecstasy sold for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Damien Hirst erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Enter the Infinite (The Visions), Ecstasy für GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
