This work without title by Dan Rees was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,035.47), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Dan Rees have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Artex Painting in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dan Rees wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 37.035,47) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dan Rees auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Artex Painting im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
